Sunshine

“This month it will rain all the time”, said the lady at the info desk, my English speaking connection at our apartment complex office. Well, true enough, it’s been raining and raining and raining an it will rain tomorrow again. But now we’ve had couple of really sunny and warm days this week. Benjamin can’t wait to get outside, he’s been playing at our patio while I’ve been doing the laundry (you just have to do it when it’s not raining!) and then he’s been running to the playground, driving his “car”, climbing up and down the stairs…  Even after the whole morning outside, I have hard time trying to get him home for lunch.

"Big tuck", says Benjamin

Today, the playground was packed with kids and their parents or nannies. My Chinese friend took us to the other playground across the street and now they all know Benjamin there as well…

Now, in the afternoon, it’s warmer outside than inside! I had to add clothes when we came inside from the sunshine.

I even bought the first pot of flowers to give some color for our patio. Still, lot’s of gardening to do, if we want to have some privacy; people stop in front of our patio to peek inside our apartment through the glass doors.

I really hope this is the spring weather  here in April. The whole city looks so much more alive and the life is so much easier in sunny days!!!

  1. Ihana aurinkoinen melkein 2-vuotias!

  2. Patio on kiva, paitsi etta portti pitaa muistaa lukita, ettei poika karkaa omille teilleen. Kova hinku on juosta leikkipaikalle, vaikka itse joskus joisin vaikka kahvia rauhassa… Enpa usko, etta nain sumeilematta Suomessa kukaan sisaan tuijottelee ja osoittelee! No, on siihenkin tottunut, ei se enaa niin kovasti hairitse.
