Dongqian lake

Right now this picture looks a bit weird, because today it’s +20C outside and Niko is wearing shorts, but just couple of weeks ago we were still wearing winter clothes. On a sunny Sunday afternoon we did a short trip to Dongqian lake, a beautiful lake not far from here. It’s a perfect place for family outing and different kinds of outdoor activities. Even if the weather was not that warm yet, we could see lots of people strolling along the lakeside. Many beautiful kites too!

I somehow managed to destroy almost all my pictures of that beautiful place (looks like it was a a memory card problem), so these nice pics above are taken by Niko. We are for sure going back there, not only for pics, but to enjoy the lakeside in a warmer weather! (You can read more about the lake here: http://scenery.cultural-china.com/en/107Scenery6084.html)

After enjoying the lakeside walk, we still headed to the temple area. There are several Buddhist temples, some of them have been moved there from nearby areas. There are beautiful details to shoot, you can just imagine how many pics I really took… and lost.

Hey, the bikers are here!

Waiting for the bus home, we saw some pretty awesome riverside houses: instead of a car, you can step into your boat from your backdoor! Chinese Venice, huh? 😉
