Beautiful weather and the first day of spring (festival) lured smiling and joyful Chinese to Tian Yi Square. Blossoming cherry trees,  people taking snapshots, strolling families, wishing each others prosperity for the year of the dragon. Since it’s actually still winter here, the cherry trees were plastic, the fact that didn’t seem to bother anyone.
